The Continental Mud King ProTection 26" Folding Mountain Bike Tyre is tubeless ready with a 4/240 tpi casing reinforced with ProTection technology. With a narrow 1.8" casing makes it perfect for muddy terrain but still provides an excellent grip even on wet roots and rocks with the Black Chilli compound. This compound is unique to Continental, 1-8m carbon black particles are incorporated into the formulas of the tyre which and makes it a great compromise between rolling resistance, wear and grip. They are tiny particles that mould better to there surface of the tyre and have more points od contact with the surface. Giving the tyre more grip then the tyre with the Black Chilli compound.
