Compatibility
Not prepared to settle at just plain, old-fashioned protection, the Sixer MIPS Helmet can also be integrated with goggles to keep your eyes shielded when companions kick up roost in front. Using a strap gripper at the rear to keep them in place, this Bell favourite also has an adjustable visor height and an integrated camera/light mount should you wish to capture any sick jumps to share on social media in the evening.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the users head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
