The shoe's resilience extends to the ankle and toe sections too. The toe box features PORON® foam, providing protection from rock strikes and hidden tree stumps and roots that can crush your toes. At the ankle, Five Ten deploy D30® padding. This is soft and flexible when pedalling, but as soon as it's hit, it stiffens to provide impact absorption. We all know how much ankle hits hurt, so this is a real bonus.
