Fox Racing Rampage Pro Carbon Matte Helmet

With a racing pedigree that's been proven on the mountain bike Downhill World Cup circuit, the Fox Racing Rampage Pro Carbon Matte Helmet offers unrivalled protection for those of you who make no compromises in pursuit of performance.

You've burst out of the start hut, brimming with confidence, a laser-like focus on the trail and a flow state that leaves you with a huge grin on your face. But this flow can be wiped out in an instant - this is mountain biking after all, where a slippery root, missed a braking point or awkward landing will see you unceremoniously dumped on the dirt.

It's here you'll be extremely glad to have the feature-packed Rampage Pro Carbon Matte MTB Cycling Helmet providing head protection.

In-Mould Varizorb EPS

At the core of the Rampage Pro is a dual-density In-Mould Varizorb EPS foam. This is the first line of defence against head injury should you crash. Light in weight but excellent at absorbing impact energies, it spreads those impact forces over a wide surface area to lessen their effect on your head.

This core is covered by the MCT (Multi Composite Technology) outer shell, an extremely tough and durable shell to ensure long life and a helmet that can take the knocks of mountain biking in its stride. It's light too, the carbon fibre maintaining strength while minimising weight.

Next comes the MIPS brain protection system, a brilliant bit of technology to add another level of head protection to your ride.

What is MIPS?

The Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) is a well-proven technology that reduces the rotational forces on the brain when you're involved in a crash. The forces are absorbed and redirected to prevent them from being transmitted to the brain.

MIPS is a Brain Protection System

Rotational motion can cause brain injuries

The low friction layer allows a sliding movement of 1015 mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact

Tough by Nature, a Softy at Heart

While burly protection is top of the list, don't for a second think Fox have neglected comfort, not a bit of it. The Rampage offers up the very best in class when it comes to fit and mesh vent screens keep fresh air flowing, keeping you cool even during the toughest of downhill runs while preventing debris from getting inside.

No matter how much air you get you're still bound to get a bit sweaty but the removable X-Static® liner wicks sweat away from the skin to leave you dry and it's antimicrobial with odour control too, so no stinky, itchy head for you after a fun day on the hill.

The Rampage Pro Carbon Helmet has been designed with direct input from Fox's elite downhill and freeride mountain bike athletes, and you can tell. It's the flagship of the range and offers the very best protection levels so you can rip downhills with incredible confidence. Time to go ride.

Features:
