If you're not crashing then you're not riding hard enough. Right? And when it all goes a bit wrong, the Defender Full Face MTB Cycling Helmet protects you from head impacts. But this is no annoyingly heavy lid, it weighs a scant 778 grams (size medium) so you'll soon forget all about it. 

The incredible lack of weight is made possible via the full carbon fibre shell. This lightweight and durable exterior wraps the shock-absorbing EPS foam liner, providing an outstanding level of head protection while not adding excess weight.

The carbon shell has also allowed Kask to maintain strength and protection while giving you a brilliantly wide degree of vision. To keep your Defender in place even during the hardest impacts is the ever-reliable double D-ring chin strap. And should your helmet have to be removed, the D-ring system and quick-release cheek pads make it quick and straightforward.

Keep a Cool Head on the Trail

When you're riding hard you want to be sure you're not going to get too hot and sweaty. And the Defender excels here too. 18 vents let cool air in and warm, damp air out. Those vents feed into inner air channels to ensure cooling airflow across your whole head. Inside, the interchangeable Coolmax padding is brilliant at dealing with any sweat build-up. And you can hand-wash them to always enjoy a fresh ride. 

WG11 Safety Test

The Defender passes the stringent WG11 test. This focuses on protection from rotational impact forces, measuring rotational kinematics from both oblique and normal impacts. With this safety test passed, you can be sure the Defender has you covered should you be unfortunate enough to fall from your mountain bike.
