MET Eldar Youth Helmet (MIPS)
For the younger cycling enthusiasts in the family, the MET Eldar Youth Helmet (MIPS) is packed with the latest safety features so they can enjoy their ride.
Young riders love to go full-gas and there are times when they'll take a tumble. It's then that the MET Eldar Youth Helmet, with its all-around head coverage, will keep them protected. The EPS foam construction absorbs impacts while the MIPS-C2® allows the helmet to slide relative and redirect any damaging rotational movement in the event of a crash.
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the users head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
Safe-T Twist 2 Fit System
The Safe-T Twist 2 Fit System makes it wonderfully easy to get the fit right so the Eldar stays firmly in place over any terrain. The comfort pads keep young heads cushioned and they're washable too, ensuring long-term freshness.
The perfect helmet for those who aspire to ride the Enduro World Series, it is completed with reflective rear stickers that offer additional visibility in low lit areas.
