Brain-protecting MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) technology is at the heart of the POCito Kid's Crane MIPS Cycling Helmet. This is a proven safety system that reduces the rotational forces on the brain when you're involved in a crash. The forces are absorbed and redirected to prevent them from being transmitted to the brain.
A dual-density EPS foam core also works to absorb impact forces, compressing and distorting to shield your head from harm. A durable outer shell, directly moulded to the inner, also provides the toughness to take on the frequent use and demands of younger bike riders. It's a helmet ideal for riders who ride hard and treat their equipment just as hard too.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System)
The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the users head.
Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head. In a crash, the Mips system is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head.
