POC Spine VPD Air Back Protector

Developed to meet the stringent E EN 1621-2 Level 1 protection standard the POC Spine VPD Air Back Protector offers reliable protection in the event of a crash. It's also light and well ventilated, delivering excellent comfort alongside it's reliable protection.

If you're tackling more technical mountain bike trails, with more challenging terrain testing your skills, the Spine VPD Air Back Protector will offer back protection should the trail get the better of you. The Level 1 protection standard gives you assurance it has been tested and certified to a recognised standard. In use, this exacting level of protection allows no more than 18 kN of force to be transmitted in the event of an impact.

When you're riding you don't want too many distractions and this is certainly the case with your body armour. In order to maintain comfort, the Spine VPD Air protector is encased in a 3D mesh, giving a boost to both ventilation and sweat-management.

Adjustability is also excellent. The shoulder straps are highly adjustable and feature a sternum strap to keep the protector secure. The waistband is also adjustable up and down to dial in the fit. And if you feel it's not necessary, the waistband is also removable.
