And here the Women's Supergiara Cycling Jacket excels. In the shade where temperatures are freezing, the Polartec® Alpha® insulation does a brilliant job of locking in body heat. But once you're pushing the pace and building up a sweat, it's superb at regulating temperature and releasing sweat build-up too. Once the pace eases or you stop for a coffee break this ensures you'll avoid feeling chilly.

The outer shell of the jacket provides reliable protection from biting cold winds too, preventing heat loss and discomfort. A water-repellent finish also sees light rain bead on the jacket surface rather than immediately soak in. Ideal for fending off road spray and mud kicked up from off-road trails. 

The Supergiara has a total of 9 pockets, offering copious space to stash essentials and spares all within easy reach. It's just right for those items you don't want to have to hunt for in frame/bar or saddle bags. Sportful temperature guide

Sportful now split the temperature range of their garments into two zones. Each zone signifies a different temperature range depending on whether youre riding at a slower, steadier pace or more intense, faster pace.

This means, for example, a jacket may be rated down to 0 degrees C if your cycling effort is at a harder and more intense pace where body heat is quickly built-up. However, the same jacket will be better suited to slightly warmer temperatures, say 5 degrees C, when your efforts are slower and steadier where youre simply not generating as much body heat.
